Man Already Behind Bars Facing Copper Theft Charges

(South Charleston) A man is in the Southern Regional this evening as he faces charges of stealing copper in Kanawha County

State Police say 23-year-old Michael Craig Jarrell, 23 of Gallagher stole copper wire that was priced somewhere between $8,000 -$10,000. The wire was allegedly stolen from cell phone towers in the Cabin Creek area.

Jarrell was already lodged at the Southern Regional Jail after he was arrested on other charges filed earlier this month in Fayette County.
