Indiana Truck Driver Faces Charges in Fatal Accident
(Winfield) An Indiana truck driver accused of killing an Eleanor teen in a car accident will appear in Putnam County Magistrate Court Tuesday morning. Investigators say Norris hit a car along I-64 in Hurricane containing four people including 18-year-old James Roberts and kept driving. Roberts died last Tuesday from injuries sustained from the accident. The three others in the car were also injured. Norris' hearing in Magistrate Court is scheduled for 10:45 a.m.
Breazeale Norris, 57, of Indianapolis is facing several charges including DUI Causing death and leaving the scene of an accident causing death.
